To manage and optimize Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance operations, ensuring seamless coordination of operations, compliance with regulations, and exceptional service delivery to Clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily operations for air, ocean, and road freight shipments, ensuring quick turnaround
- Manage Customs Clearance processes, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Manage workflow automation
- Coordinate with carriers, agents, and government authorities to resolve shipment delays or documentation issues.
- Lead a Team of Operations Staff, providing training, performance feedback, and workflow prioritization.
- Monitor KPIs (on-time delivery, cost control, compliance) and implement process improvements.
- Pursue and secure new business
- Liaise with the Administrator to address client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records (shipment tracking, customs filings, invoices)
- Generate periodic Operational reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, trade laws, and compliance requirements.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or Diploma in Freight Forwarding/Shipping/Customs Legislation and Procedures or equivalent
- 5+ years hands-on experience
- Strong Customs knowledge, proven operational management, manage AI transformation
- Effective business development skills
- Effective customer service skills
