Responsible for managing various Tax issues in a large Company, ensuring compliance with Tax laws and Regulations, and liaising with Tax authorities as necessary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tax Compliance – ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns
- Tax Planning and Advisory – provide tax planning and advisory services to the business
- Tax Audits and Investigations – manage audits & investigations, ensuring professionalism
- Relationship Management – develop and maintain good working relationships with Tax Authorities
- Tax Research and Updates – stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
- Financial Statement Preparation – assist in preparation of financial statements, ensuring all disclosures are complete
- Risk Management – identify and manage tax risks in accordance with Company risk management policies
- Transfer pricing
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of Taxation experience, preferably in FMCG
- Strong knowledge of Zimbabwean Taxation, including Corporate tax, VAT, PAYE, etc
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Sound understanding of transfer pricing
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office suite
