Coordinate accurate and efficient order picking, stock placement, and truck loading.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of quantities and flavors of SKUs picked and placed on trucks for loading
- Inspect and coordinate the loading process – reporting to the Shift Manager on any anomalies
- Coordinate with the Forklift Supervisor and Ground Supervisor for the allocation of sufficient forklifts and loaders to execute the order picking and loading process respectively
- Monitor and administer order picking, placement on bays, and loading onto trucks
- Collaborate with Inventory Controllers and Reconciliation Clerks to ensure stock availability for picking
- Attend to and resolve queries arising in order picking and loading
- Collaborate with Transport Officers and Drivers in dispatching trucks.
- Induct and train new employees on the end-to-end shipping process.
- Check the authenticity of the order and loading slips.
- Provide status updates on order picking and loading.
- Ensure all checklists on the order/loading slip are completed before issuing to the Manager for final verification.
- Supervise activity on the bays, attending to housekeeping issues that align with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Reconcile orders processed during the shift ie orders picked, loaded, and dispatched.
- Sign and authenticate all order/loading slips for verified orders
- Accurate completion of Shift Dispatch Sheets, sign and return to Manager after the end of shift.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in Supply Chain Management/Retail & Logistics or related.
- A Minimum of 3-5 years of FMCG experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SAP software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills.
